Stacked white oak boards in a rack

Jabotinsky 45

Oak first.

European white oak is the house timber: stable, pale, honest about its grain. Ash for stairs that need flex. Walnut when a door should feel heavier than it is.

Select and character grades.

Treads and bent rails.

Small runs, booked as a pair.

Stock is kiln-dried and then left in the Ramat Gan rack before it is cut. A board that moves after install is a board we did not wait for.

If you are supplying timber, tell us before we draw. Mixed lots are how a stair starts to look accidental.
